Best of Robotics

· August 5, 2020

Although robotics is not covered in one discrete science understanding outcome, this resource contains what you might need to know to develop robots and how they can be used to help society – and hopefully open up opportunities for students to progress in this field after school.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this activity:

All must: State examples of where robots are used and why they are important.

Most should: State some careers and industries that benefit from robots and describe how they are used.

Some could: Discuss current and future ethical issues with the integration of robots to society.

Consider which of the above learning outcomes you should be aiming for throughout this activity.
